Administration Modules

Administration modules increase the functionality of the Core enhancing web publishing performance and capabilities.

Flash Library

The flash library enables administrators to store flash files and place them on pages. The flash library provides an alternative image facility so browsers not supporting flash are provided with an alternative image.

HTML Library

HTML 'snippets' can be created within the library and added to a content area of a page. This provides the flexibility of developing 'snippets' of HTML that can be edited within a page using the CMS editor. HTML snippets are useful for generic graphical elements that contain variant components such as text.

Site Map

Site maps are dynamically generated reflecting alterations to the site structure such as the addition, removal or moving of pages.

Search

The site search facility allows visitors to easily find the information they need. Search results are displayed and ranked in relation to page content and keywords.

Related Pages

While viewing pages visitors are alerted to other pages that contain similar information. These pages are listed with links to navigate directly to them. The framework has a very powerful back end architecture allowing any page or object to be referenced to any other page.

Printer Friendly Pages

This module dynamically creates a printer friendly version of each content managed page.

Advanced Admin Security

The advanced admin security module manages and displays all users of the system along with their user names, passwords and access levels. With larger sites involving several contributors it becomes necessary to set administration privileges. Security can be defined down to object level through a user management interface providing varying access levels for an unlimited number of users.

Authorisation Workflow

Workflow operates based on the permissions system that defines administrative levels for each page of a site. Administrators who do not have ‘Super User’ status may have to request authorisation before any pages or page editions can be published. Permissions can be defined to allow non ‘Super Users’ the ability to publish without requesting authorisation. Implementation of workflow helps to ensure information is authorised by the correct person before being published.

Advanced Authorisation Workflow

The advanced workflow module extends workflow functionality so multiple stages can be defined in an authorisation cycle. Steps can be added to a work flow object and each step can be assigned multiple users. Once created workflow objects are assigned to sections or pages within a site.

Email Alerts

Email alerts are implemented to work with several modules including the enquires manager, authorisation workflow and the review dates module. Email alerts extend the functionality of the desktop to alert administrators who are not logged onto the system.
