Harris & Russell have reduced order-processing costs through a fully integrated online procurement system built using Grouptree’s Advanced Web Applications Framework.
The online procurement system allows retailers to place orders and manage their product transactions from one central source. The fully integrated system now streamlines what was an antiquated ordering and fulfilment process.
Retailers can choose to run their individually-branded ecommerce microsites from the central Harris & Russell product catalogue to enable them to trade online.
Each site demonstrates the full range of products and can be content-managed by the retailer. The resulting microsite network has created a new trading model enabling retailers to attract more customers.

Retailers are able to order directly through the procurement system which shows discounts and quantity breaks as well as special offers and packs.
Automatic data import
The product data on the sites is automatically synchronised every night with the back-end systems. Data such as stock levels are obtained in realtime from the stock control software.
